Advantages

What R-Force solves.

Every R-Force advantage directly addresses a real failure mode in conventional touchless technology.

Eliminates false activations
100% elimination of false activations caused by reflective surfaces, sunlight, and electrical interference. Digital gain control with real-time calibration keeps the sensor stable across all conditions.
Reflective vest proof
99% reduction in accidental activations from high-visibility safety clothing. Critical for industrial, construction, and public-use environments where workers wear reflective gear.
Surface color independent
40x less variation in detection between white and black surfaces. Conventional sensors struggle significantly with dark surfaces. R-Force performs consistently regardless of target color or material.
Ultra-low power
~25µA standby enables battery-operated and energy-harvesting applications today. Solar-powered outdoor terminals, battery-backup sanitary sensors, and low-power IoT deployments all benefit. Roadmap targets sub-10µA.
Fully connected
UART, I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485 on-board. Bluetooth, WiFi, cellular and other wireless protocols available. Every sensor can connect to cloud environments and IoT platforms out of the box.
Scalable and customizable
Almost 100% of R-Force sensors are customized. Housing dimensions, output logic, detection range, communication protocol. Every element can be adapted to your product requirements and budget.
How it works

Photon impulse sensing with digital gain control.

Most touchless sensors use hardware gain control, limited to 8-16 gain levels, which means noise gets amplified alongside the signal. R-Force takes a fundamentally different approach.

Digital gain control
Over 1,000 gain levels vs 8-16 in conventional sensors. This precision eliminates the amplification of noise that degrades performance in standard designs.
Digital amplification
Hardware amplification amplifies noise alongside the signal, with noise impact up to 25%. R-Force digital amplification reduces noise impact to 0.1%. That is 1,000x less noise.
Real-time calibration
Low-frequency optical operation with digital control enables real-time calibration that eliminates interference from sunlight, reflective surfaces, and electrical noise.
Photon impulse sensing
940nm wavelength photon impulse technology provides stable, accurate detection across varying surface colors, materials, and environmental conditions.

Features

What R-Force can do.

R-Force accuracy and programmability enable application-specific features built directly into the sensor platform.

Water stops when the bottle moves.

Standard sensors keep the water running until the bottle leaves the full activation range. For white, reflective, or large bottles, that can be a long distance. Water spills every time.

DynaStop snapshots the exact bottle position after a short calibration period. Move the bottle and the water stops. Instantly. Regardless of bottle size, color, or material.

Water stops when the bottle overflows.

How do you detect when a bottle is full? Every bottle is different. Shape, size, volume, material. You cannot predict fill level from the outside.

You do not detect full. You detect overflow. The moment a bottle overflows, droplets appear on the surface. R-Force sees this and shuts the water down. Universal. Automatic. No additional hardware.

One sensor range, multiple zones.

ZoneSense splits the detection range into adjustable zones, each activating a distinct function or output. A single sensor can trigger different behaviors at different distances.

Presence and movement detection.

Use motion sensing in addition to touchless activation. Energy-saving controls, occupancy monitoring, wake-from-sleep activation. Adds intelligence without adding hardware.

The sensor learns its environment.

Real-time monitoring of the operating environment. R-Force analyzes static reflections and ambient conditions, building a memory map for active noise filtering. The sensor gets smarter over time.

Multiple functions in one sensor.

Combine on/off activation with water flow control, or touchless switching with temperature adjustment by distance. One R-Force sensor replaces two conventional sensors.

Real-time position tracking.

Dynamic position detection for automatic range and activation adjustments. This is the foundation technology behind DynaStop and FlowStop.

Your feature, built into the platform.

R-Force accuracy and flexibility allows partners to develop custom product features specific to their application and market. If you can define it, we can build it into the sensor.

Power

Low power is not a spec.
It is years of operation.

R-Force is designed for ultra-low power from the ground up. At ~25µA standby, battery-powered and solar-powered applications are viable today. The roadmap targets sub-10µA through AI-driven dynamic power management, extending operational life even further.

This is what makes R-Force practical for faucets, soap dispensers, flush valves, and any application where wiring is expensive or impossible.
